NACVA is the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (www.nacva.com). NACVA is the largest and most reputed organization of business valuation professionals that provide business market value appraisal and litigation services for various types of business transactions. NACVA members receive education, training and certification in business market value appraisal that they put to use in their professions. NACVA also enforces standards of ethical conduct among its members.

IACVA is the International Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts (www.iacva.org). IACVA is the first and only international association established to provide worldwide support to professionals who perform business market value appraisal and valuations of intangible property of all kinds in more than 34 countries and as per International Financing Reporter Standards (IFRS). IACVA is an affiliate of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts the largest accrediting and educational association in the United States for business valuation professionals. IACVA trains and certifies Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA) to perform business value appraisal as a service to both the consulting community and the users of these services. Through training and rigorous testing, CVAs demonstrate they are qualified to provide capable and professionally executed valuation services.

MMIBA is the Middle Market Investment Banking Association (www.mmiba.com). MMIBA is a unique organization established to fill a void of qualified M&A professionals within the small to middle market investment banking community. MMIBA primary purposes are 1) to provide education to enhance the knowledge, efficiencies, and access to resources for professionals that are providing merger & acquisition (M&A) services, and 2) to help such professionals more effectively promote their specialized expertise by obtaining MMIBA’s elite credential—Chartered Merger and Acquisition Professional (CMAP), and through affiliation with a high-profile and highly respected group of M&A professionals.

CM&AA is Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (www.amaaonline.com). CM&AA designation is awarded by the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors and its academic partners, Loyola University Chicago, DePaul University and Peperdine University, to professionals that evidence mastery of the M&A body of knowledge and a commitment to staying abreast of new developments in the field of investment banking and mergers and acquisitions. CM&AA also recognizes professional achievement and competence, serves as a tool to both attract and serve new clients, provides identification with other professionals in the field and stimulates career advancement.
